Plan :

Introduction (10 minutes):

1. Use a fun icebreaker activity to get the student talking. For example, discuss their favorite

hobbies, movies, or travel experiences.

2. Introduce key vocabulary related to the warm-up topic to enhance their conversational skills.

Main Activities (30 minutes):

1. Role-Playing (15 minutes):

 Set up real-life scenarios (e.g., ordering food at a restaurant, asking for directions).

 Act out the scenarios together, focusing on pronunciation, vocabulary, and natural flow of

conversation.

 Provide constructive feedback on language use and gestures.

2. Discussion on Current Events (15 minutes):

 Choose a relevant news article or topic for discussion.

 Discuss the article, encouraging the student to express their opinions and thoughts.

 Correct any language errors and introduce new vocabulary.

3. Practice Session (25 minutes):

Pair Conversations (10 minutes):

 Provide conversation prompts or questions related to the lesson's theme.

 Have the student pair up with a classmate or practice with you.

 Rotate partners to encourage adaptability in different conversation styles.

Listening Comprehension (10 minutes):

 Play audio clips or videos with natural English conversations.

 Discuss the content, focusing on comprehension and identifying colloquial expressions.

 Ask the student to summarize the conversation in their own words.

Wrap-Up and Feedback (15 minutes):

 Summarize key points covered in the lesson.

 Provide constructive feedback on the student's performance, highlighting strengths and areas

for improvement.

 Discuss any additional resources for independent practice, such as recommended reading

materials or language exchange opportunities.
